Staying here felt like home for our big family of 9! The kids loved the nearby attractions, especially the Reptile Gardens and the waterpark. Our time at the lodge was cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a fun-filled adventure in the Black Hills.

My wife says that it could use a family-friendly game room.

The location was fantastic, with close proximity to beautiful motorcycle roads and an excellent restaurant onsite that served signature meats. However, the cabin had a limited view and was quite small for two, making it feel cramped. Additionally, the poor lighting and challenging parking made things tricky, especially for larger vehicles. Wi-Fi was slow, which frustrated the kids who couldn’t use their devices.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored Reptile Gardens and took on some beautiful hiking trails in the Black Hills. The place has a great vibe, and the staff was friendly. Definitely plan your activities – there’s so much to do here!

This was a great match for a mini-break over the weekend in Keystone with good value for money. The cabin had cute wooden features and good amenities, but the water was turned off when we checked in late. Be cautious of the loud trucks passing at night.

I recently stayed for two nights and was thrilled with the two queen motel room. The room was spacious and clean, and the kids loved the playground outside. Although the heated outdoor pool was closed during our stay, we still enjoyed the gas firepit in the evening, which added a nice touch to our relaxing getaway.

We had a lovely stay with a cozy cabin that came complete with a mini fridge and coffee maker, perfect for our family. The heated pool was a hit with the kids, and we also enjoyed unwinding on the porch after a day of exploring. The only hiccup was the wifi being a bit spotty, but it didn’t take away from our overall fun experience! 😊

The sandwiches were freshly made, bursting with flavor—like a local picnic that just hit different. Plus, the restaurant had amazing large portion meals, with a standout prime rib that had me dreaming of seconds! Our cozy Two Queen Motel Room felt like a private hideaway, perfect for unwinding after an adventurous day.

Had to give the air-conditioning a quick check-up since it wasn’t cooling at first. Also, the cabin fridge was off and a tad messy, but once we sorted that out, everything else shined just like the rest of my stay!

the powder house lodge has a great location, just far enough from the town to avoid traffic. the cabin was cozy, with a nice kitchenette, and the heated outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. the restaurant had excellent wait staff who made dining enjoyable during our stay.
